Presets on XBpartitioner 1.3
As part of the next revision for "NMS TSOP Flasher 3.0" I would like very much to have presets on XBpartitioner 1.3 for comonly sized HDDs between 250Gb and 2Tb, hopefully allowing anyone to easily upgrade their HDD with minimal effort. I'm not exactly sure as to where to start such a project or as to its limitations. If I cant achieve multiple presets within the one app, but because size isnt really an issue I could use mulitple apps each with there own preset... I dunno just an idea for the moment...
Re: Presets on XBpartitioner 1.3
(A) cycles through predefined presets for the extra partitions.
Or
(B) splits the extra partition size equity.
Then
(Start) then (Y) writes the changes.
It already dose what you want.

Re: Presets on XBpartitioner 1.3
To be honest I havnt used XBP for over ten years, I cant remember it having this feature.
I do remember it being quiet difficult to use, just didnt find it that user friendly.
I just checked out XBP but I dont have any large drives to play with atm.
When it distributes the partitions evenly on a large drive does it also set the cluster size?
I was actually hoping you would reply...
I'd still like to further simplify and/or automate XBP simliar to what you did with Config Magic.
It would be nice just to select a "Upgrade HDD" option on a Auto Installer (AI), have XBP auto divide and format F&G then return to the auto installer.
I've had other ideas with how to use Config Magic (CM). I know your version automatically backs up eeprom then returns to dash.
1) have another two versions that unlock & lock hdd then return to the AI.
I'm sure CM backs up the eeprom when you unlock it anyway. Can the dump dir be changed to e:\backup\?
2) Use CM to play a intro video (.wmv) as the AI loads up... Have CM as default.xbe then redirect to another d:\installer.xbe
or use this same method to play a tutorial video from the AI...
Currently I've added an option to transfer exploit from AI straight to a Xbox Memory Card (XMC) on a modded console...
This will save users from having to FTP the exploit to a modded console then transferring it to the XMC via MSdash.
I've also fixed the directory issue for raincoat, so users will no longer have to prepare BIOS for raincoat.
The objective is to further simplfy things and save time...

Re: Presets on XBpartitioner 1.3
You'd probably have to rewrite some of the XBP code to have a preset menu that is clickable and automated.
Just my 2 bits.
