Hello guys,
my XBOX V1.1 with LPC Modchip and 120GB Samsung HDD does not play very well (8-10 fps) 1280x960 420p videos,
while i am streaming via Internet.
Similar 1280x960 420p videos from my local NAS can be streamed perfectly. (CPU usage: 75%, 25fps)
Here are my settings:
- library disabled
- low quality pixel shader
- soften: off
- DVD player full codec support disabled
- DVD player fast mode enabled
- H.264 loop filter: skip everything
What can be the problem?
Thanks!
Palim

Re: 420p video - cpu 100%
debug log please (it's worth reading the forum a bit before posting - especially the topic at the top that says "IMPORTANT INFORMATION - read BEFORE posting"
) - http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/forum/viewt ... p?f=6&t=65
BTW 1280x960 is not 420p it is a higher res than 720p even. The log will give me details of resolution and codec. It's likely you are trying to stream files that are beyond the abilities of the XBox.
