Okay the Aladdin did work it was only half on the pinheader  I have backed up the eeprom, but MS dash seems corrupted, tried making a backup and fails. Is there a way to find out the kernel for the dash. I want to softmod and then TSOP, or is there a better option :?:
Thanks

put in slayers and restore the dash with evox then softmod as you know the dash then.

I put in slayers to use ftp and I think the drive is on the way out. It transfers at a ridiculously slow rate. It also said the kernel was 5831. I will try using evox to restore. If that doesn't work I'll build a new drive :?: :|
Thanks

Sorted :!: Prof, thanks for your help. The hdd was knackered, stuck in another retail hdd, restored to retail and locked. Boots fine :)
