Regardless of where you are, they will work. Just specify NTSC. What are you looking to pay? Secondly, where do you live as that will be factored in to shipping? Third, you would need to specify exactly what you wanted. I hope you get a builder.

If you buy a European xbox it won't work as our electricity is at 220v(230v(240v)) and the United States electricity is at 110v. You could of course change the power supply but it makes more sense to buy one from your own country, besides importing one would cost a stupid amount of money compared to buying on locally.

I looked at Parcel Force's charges for this last week - more than 60 quid for the cheapest economy option.

You'll most likely get a regular sized xbox unelss someone wants to go through the hassle of making it for you ;) Just curious have you checked your local Craigs List to see what's there?

I grew up in Lebanon, so I am very familiar with Crawfordsville. Nice to see a local. I don't hardmod personally, but I can build you a softmodded machine with the specs you state otherwise. Before we go further, is this an issue? If softmod is cool, I can do everything else without much issue. How big of a HDD do you want?

Also the question on what you're willing to spend is quite the courtesy. Before I do it, I would have to buy parts (HDD, USB cable), and mod it. I don't want to waste my time if you're gonna lowball me... Not meaning to sound like a dick, but I have been burned before. Make an offer if you're still interested.

You would be right. It is a town near Crawfordsville here in Indiana.

The only thing i have against soft mod is i heard if you leave the usb in after you turn the xbox off and on it re-formats the usb which would make me cry..Now if this is not true then i would be down for a soft modded machine no problem. Also i would like at least a 60gb hdd..That way i can add all the stuff in xbmc and not have to worry about space. If you can get a parts price and what not i would be willing to pay 100% for the parts and throw you some money for doing it..How long do you think it would take..And do i need to provide my own xbox. lmk..Or if you already have one pre-built maybe we can work something out

As for craigslist, their is nothing.I have been looking for ever for one and with no luck i ended up on this wonderful site..Their is just alot of people who claim they can mod 360,wii and ps3

I heard from someone on the Internet that Elvis was alive and living on the moon, but that doesn't make it true. ;)

Even if it does happen, it's at most a 4GB USB stick, and reformatting it and replacing the small amount of content on there would take under a minute.

Reading between the lines, I suspect that you might be imagining that you can have content (movies etc.) on a large external USB drive connected to the Xbox. You can't. The Xbox will only read USB pen drives of 4GB or smaller, and even then it is very choosy about which drives it will read. Your content has to be on the internal hard drive, or on a network drive i.e. a NAS or a PC, or streamed from the Internet.

To build this including parts and xbox (which I have some), I have an 80GB sitting around, USB cable is like $2. Modding the xbox would take about 2 hours for the USB mod and case mod for the USB jack to sit flush and clean looking. To install and build that would be $170.

Heimdall is right though, so the USB may not be what you are wanting. You may want to upgrade the HDD to larger instead of the USB port. In that case, $95 plus HDD cost. That would be without the USB port. Included is xbox v1.6 w/ cables and 1 controller, softmod, XBMC4XBOX as dashboard, script module libraries installed, HDD upgrade install fee. Again, anything larger than the 80GB add cost of new HDD plus the $95. With the 80GB it will be $125 total using setup earlier in this paragraph. This would take less than an hour after I had the HDD (should you go bigger than the 80GB I have).

Let me know. If you decide to pull the trigger, I will pm you for more information.

And Heimdall, Elvis and Tupac are alive and hanging out somewhere in Iowa as discount furniture sales guys.
