File Manager made folders via FTP inaccessible

Hi,

I FTP'd some bits and bobs to both the E and F drive some time ago and everything was fine.
Having a bit of a tidy up, I used XBMC File Manager to move some stuff about; a couple of Games from E to F and also renamed a directory that was already on F.
Since this maintenance, I cannot access these folders from FTP with either FileZilla or WinSCP. FileZilla sees the folders, with a date prefix, but will not allow access to them and WinSCP just gives an error, containing the folder name, and won't even display the folder in the file list.
Browsing the folders via XBMC File Manager shows no problems and everything is as it should be. As a simple test, I renamed the questionable folders using XBMC but this hasn't helped FTP access.

Any ideas, anyone? I can post a screenshot(s) if I'm not making sense!
