Remove Partitions
Hey guys! I have noticed that the x drive on my xbox has nothing in it and its taking up 749 mb of space that i could use for music. I could just put my music there but i would like to have it removed and have more space on my E drive.

Re: Remove Partitions
hey, so
if you move your music in that X, it will erase as soon as you play a game like gta sa, or a emulator, xbmc4xbox when caching your movies will erase it, if you want more space on your xbox and don't have a big hd or know how to install one heres a cool quick process that will give you some space
.
heres what you can do.
first go to your unleash X dashboard if you don't have it go download it somewhere off of google, don't try to install it like a dash, just run it as a app.
say you have unleash X , go to System, then Storage, turn on your F drive
once you see that your F drive appears on the unleash X F 0.00 mb Free just as you see in the image.
Warning!!
becarefull what you do in this part you don't want to format the wrong drive.
your F drive should show up now, once it does click on the white button for the menu to pop up
go to Format.
I repeat make sure you highlight the F drive only, once you find format, just go ahead and format it and it should only take a couple of seconds.
DONE!
don't try this on any other drives unless you know what the heck your doing.
you should now have 2gbs of space depending on your xboxs HDD, some Xboxes have smaller then others the highest I think is 10gb, some have only 8, I might be wrong, I think that's correct info.
now you can send your music to the 2gb F drive
to remove thoses x,y,z im not sure if you can but wait for someone that has more experience then me on this don't try to do anything with out knowing what to do
good luck

Re: Remove Partitions
you should just download chimp google it, then go buy a hard drive, or take it off an old pc, make sure it is compatible and is lockable.
you can easily clone it with your xbox.
save you a lot of trouble
