Xbpartitioner 500GB possible to work?

Since many years I had my 500GB partitions working in f&g mode. But I think it must work in f mode only or is this not a good idea? I will get newer hdds 2,5". How does this work with xbpartitioner 1.3? And how are the bios options?

Ok with the right SATA Adapter it seems to work. At first i got one Version from DealXtreme but it doesn't work. Then i use another. At the moment i copy all files for the C and E Partition. I Format it with 32k Clustering in XBPartitioner 1.3. I hope it will work...

Yep, sounds like you're doing it right. The DX adapters that work are the version 3 and version 3.1. Earlier ones do not.

Curious, at first i use EVTool for my M8 Bios on a 1.6 XBOX. But in xbmc i get not over 400GB. This does not work. So i go on eurasia and searching for a M8 prepatched Version with lba48 support. I use it and taddaaa it seems to be working at the moment.... i hope when i transfer my data back on the new hdd (at the moment i will do it) the data are not get corrupted. Gives it a fast test for this xman, or only when over 256GB are copied?
