Can I use C:\ and E:\ from one xbox to another xbox

I am asking this because i am fixing a friends xbox soft modded and freezes on xbmc. So I stupidly uninstalled XBMC thru Splinter Cell and now when I put in Splinter Cell and pick lunix it goes to UnleashX for a second and then goes into the game.

I might try to delete all saves and install the SID and the other file (forgot the name) and try to back up all and reinstall all. so the real question is...................

I have the eeprom.bin from this problem xbox can i just use my working xbox c:\ and e:\ directories and use his eeprom.bin and put all this in a new hard drive (I have a bigger hard drive for him) and use xboxhdm create the .iso file and build a new xbox hard drive this way???
