Xfinity DTA Remote with Xbox

Has anyone used the Xfinity DTA remote with the Xbox and OEM Dongle? Is it possible? Or is there a way to wire the IR adapter that came with the remote to get it to work? My OEM Microsoft remote crapped out and I'm looking for an alternative.

not sure about that one,but the oem uses RCA,most universal will have a code which will work.TRY RCA DVD codes
