Using a Xbox360 or other USB controller on original xbox?

I know there are xbox controller to USB adapters, but I'm looking for the opposite so I could use Xbox360 controllers (I have gamepad and madcatz SF4 fightstick) on my original xbox.

Anyone know if this has been ever been done? I have a playstation-to-xbox adapter, would love to see such an adapter made to get modern USB based controllers working on original xbox so I can use the same controller on my xbox and PC or 360.

Alternatively, using an old xbox controller and 360 controller, would it be possible to transfer old xbox cable into the 360's controller? If so, I think I just found a use for worn out old xbox controllers.

I while back I was trying to see if a wireless original xbox controller would fit into a 360 controller case but got nowhere... Instead I purchase some wireless controllers on eBay that came close enough, as close as it can anyway.

Hopefully someone has some info.

360 wired controller work on pc.
Clasic xbox controller work on pc.
But, Xbox clasic usb port is 1.1 and 360 is 2.0

But both require totally different drivers to be loaded in the PC and the Xbox does not allow for changes in drivers.
