I found a seller on eBay selling a load of Aladin XT plus modchips - these might of interest to those of you who want to look at LCD mods.
I should point out I've got nothing to do with this seller, I'm posting up here becuase I've never seen these available before brand new (I joined 'the scene' in ~2009). I've ordered a couple of these chips myself and would be happy to report back here when I get hold of them (although in truth it will be some time before I actually get these installed in anything!).

Those chips cannot drive an LCD at all. Wrong PLD chip, LC4032V, for an LCD you need LC4064V. And no contrast potentiometer.
The PLD chip can't just be swaped either, it's programable, and we don't have the source code or binary for it.
