Original XBOX with Xecuter Chip powers up then off

Hey looking for someone who could look at an XBOX that has a Xecuter chip that was working when i placed in the closet but now is not. When you tap the power button the chip on front with dongle switches turns red then turns off. The system belonged to my 27 yr old daughter that passed away 4 years ago and now my grandson is old enough to play i told him I had an awesome XBOX with over hundred games on it and when I hooked it up it will not power up. Tried the Dip Switches in different positions and no luck. Its been a long time since I have messed around with gaming but my 5 yr old grandson should get years out of it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I am in the USA. I am not sure where you are located but I am a xecuter expert! I own just about all the versions on the xecuter mod chip and have installed every version that has been made over the years. I also am really good at getting stubborn chips working. You will of course have to pay for the shipping both ways. I will not charge you any labor. I love working of these consoles and I am sure that if it can be repaired that it will not take me long at all! First thing I would do is replace the chip with a known working one to be sure that is the problem. I have about 5-6 X3 chips laying around for some projects that I intend to finish one day soon!
