Hi, I'm willing to upgrade my HDD to 2TB, I have a hardmodded Xbox with the X2.3 Lite+ modchip, I've read tutorials about upgrading the HDD but they all were on softmodded consoles, is it the same way for hardmodded boxes??
Thanks

Unlock your existing one (if it's locked) using a set-up DVD (HeXEn, AID, Slayers), put your new one in, your hard mod's BIOS should recognise it and format it for you, then set it up how you want with a set-up DVD (finally, lock it if you wish).
...now get back to the closing ceremony like the rest of us.
How I do 1 and 2Tbs on hardmods is install the HDD with adapter, insert Slayers and use it to build the HDD as a large HDD. FTP XbPartioner and a new XBMC build and put the in your E apps folder. Set your booting app as XBMC on E apps, (Slayer's disc it is called "retail HDD"). Don't use the Large HDD setting or you'll be setting the shortcut to F apps. Now check your machine is booting fine to XBMC in your E apps. If this is all good, boot XbPt from XBMCs filemanager and change your cluster sizes to 64k using XbPt and then check your cluster sizes are indeed correct using the EvoXDash method. I'll give more detail if you require it.

Crikey, this is a lot easier with HeXEn.

Yes. No mucking about with Chimp or XBOXHDM or Hotswap shenaniganising.
