Xbox V1.0 with 1ghz mod and 128mb of Ram

And again i have one more modded xbox for Sale.
It's a V1.0 that got the noisy fan replaced by a passive Heatsink of a V1.1. The case is in a pretty good condition.
It has a Philips DVD drive and a stock 10gb Seagate HDD thats loaded with XBMC3.3.3. The tsop has been flashed with the X2 4983.67 Bios.
It has the additional 128mb of Ram installed and also got the 1ghz CPU mod.
The often leaking Clock Cap has also been removed! I can also install a pinheader to the LPC port if the buyer wants me to.

International shipping is okay for me as long as you cover the shipping costs!

As an Example shipping the complete Console to the UK costs: 17€
Shipping it to the US costs: 36€
Shipping just the board to the UK would cost: 9€
And shipping just the boad to the USA would cost: 16€

Stock CPU with 128MB ram I get 25/28 FPS.

Just like to update my status.

I haven't received the board & it's going on 4 weeks now, it would seem it's lost in transit, since it wasn't sent recorded or by courier I'm out of pocket £77

When ordering stuff from other countries, request recorded/courier it covers your ass.

4 week is a bit too soon to say there is an issue. Delivery generally takes 1-3 week, and It can be jammed at the customs for about 1-2 week.
I don't know where you guys live, but from experience, I found UK customs to be real %$?/ing jerks.. might be your trouble.
Last package I've sent in the UK (to BuZz) was kept by the customs for ~ 7 days.

Do you have a tracking number /history. ?

I worked for a PCB assembly factory in the shipping department and can ensure that customs can be a long time no matter where you are and where you ship. Something about electronics makes them want to have an extended peek.

Of course they might be doing more than peeking according to documents from Snowden. They may well be trying to plant a spy in your poor box.

Imagine a scenario where agents at each border inspect it!

I only shipped FedEx for international packages, so this might not apply to every courier. There are certain ways to identify the content of the package that help customs chill and look elsewhere

UK/Scotland, N64 freak said it should have been here in 2 weeks, I phoned the post office & asked since I have had a package stopped at customs (handling fee :-@) but I asked n64 about that he said he new & put €20 (anything above £36 you get a handling fee) but anyways, they said it could be held there for a weeks, before we/them would get notification that's its been held. (Would get a pit of paper through the door)


That was nearly 2 weaks ago. Also no tracking number, it was sent unrecorded/uninsured. Why I was saying to people just make sure they are before buying, or this could happen.

It may turn up, but N64Freak said unlikely since it's been over 4 weaks.

I learnt this lesson selling stuff on eBay.... always spend a little more on postage and send it traceable!

I've had stuff disappear completely and other stuff has eventually made it back to me... a CPU I sent to Russia ended up back at my door 3 months later!

It pays to put a return address on.... and most postal service have some sort of compensation service attached to them so N64 should be able to cover some of his outlay... but I feel for N64freak its frustrating when this happens...

Honestly thou give it a couple more weeks, electronic components and customs dont mix well in this day and age..

AHA!!! I've just remembered! I also sent a computer mainboard for repair to EVGA in Germany.. that took 6 weeks to get there!!!!!!

I buy a fair amount of stuff from China, there's usually a basic tracking number so you get a vague idea of where its at, the parcels usually take about 24-48 hours to get from China to here but they can spend weeks sitting in customs in either country. As far as I can tell they're never actually opened, although I expect some if not all are x-rayed, so I don't know why they can take so long. Other times things will get here in a week.
Things should be quicker within the EU but I wouldn't give up hope for at least another month, longest I've had to wait was 3 months.

Sorry that it took me so long to answer personally.
Everyday live can be a real pain in some situations!

I never had a parcel to the UK that took so long to reach the receiver! The only problem of the same sort i ever had was a board that took 2,5 month to reach the buyer in the USA. Hopefully it will show up soon as the UK is not as far away as the US. In my oppinion it should not take any longer than 2 weeks to reach the receiver.
If it does not arrive i will off course work it out with Rocky5. But i'm still considering whats the best way to work it out.
As i'm not really earning a lot with upgrading these boards i'm going into a big loss for myself by sending him a second one.
And i can't track it as it was shipped untrackable and uninsured.

@Rocky5: For now i would ask you for a bit more patience. Maybe it will show up in the next days.

I thought international shipment for parcels has always track & trace service.
Otherwise just for 1 buck you can get it.

Sadly not here where i live.
You only have the 2 options of shipping it untrackable and uninsured for 8,90€ or insured and trackable for 17€.
There is an option to add a signature by delivery, but that doesn't include tracking.
It includes an insurance of up to 35€ but you have to fill out a form and deliver it to one of the bigger DHL stations.
But they are relatively far away from where i live.
