.strm location question

Im trying to do the .strm file on xbox when I open videos in xbmc4xbox it does not see the .strm file I made is there something more I am missing here. I put the .strm in E:/apps/xbmc/plugins/video .

for some reason you posted on a completely unrelated topic in the development area. I moved your post. Please open new threads for new issues and post in the correct area.

place your .strm file somewhere where you have a video source pointed to (eg. local drive like F:/ or a network drive). the plugins folder is for plugins.

they were talking about making .strm files I thought that was same as my question. Thank you for the answer. Next time I will not search and will just make a new topic that way this dont happen again.......

the thread you posted to was about HLS support being enabled in xbmc4xbox. Nothing about .strm files and their location.

Im not worried about it anymore I can do it the way Jan taught me....
