Softmod Crystal 1.6 help

Hi again ,
so this is the xbox I softmodded almost four years ago as a replacement for the one my friend bricked (which I am in the process of sorting in another thread )
It is a crystal 1.6 xbox and boots in to xbmc r29407 in Pal as there are no hd options showing.
Now I am going very carefully with this one due to no chip so first of all I am going to copy the eeprom via ftp , then what I would like is to use the brilliant HeXen to work its magic so I have back doors etc , then update Xbmc via ftp again .
I also need to enable ntsc somehow .
Will this work ok ?
If I remember correctly I used splinter cell and a memory stick with a cable to put on crazy ndure or something like that then it was A.I.D to install Xbmc.
At some point in the future I will also upgrade the hdd to a 160gb Sata as I have a few winging their way to me soon .

hi,as your box is already softmodded you dont need splinter cell...just download heimdalls xbox engineering disc..also known as hexen.burn it to disc then
use the disc to over write your softmod then you can install all the apps from the disc.this will ensure you have the latest softmod,dashboards and tools.
