[eBay] Shockwave Wireless Controllers

Post by Dom DXecutioner »

Greetings all,

Whilst I'm not one to "advertise" or recommend hardware, I've recently been struggling with my controllers and their cords (they've been failing), I wanted to purchase some nice looking and effective controllers; I've recently resorted to ebay and found the Shockwave Wireless Controller. I order 3 for $50 and they were delivered within two days.

Although the delivery time is not the point, the controllers themselves were very nice and they have an xbox 360 fell, not exactly like the xbox 360 but the feel is very similar and the dongle is small just like the dvd controller; The feel (ergonomics) and the fact that they are wireless have made my original xbox one someone of a new experience.

In any case, i'm just recommending them for anyone who wishes to get some new wireless controllers at a decent price.

Single Controller:

x3 Controller Bundle (free shipping)

I apologize if this is not allowed...

Nice find Dom, I have one question that would determine whether I would buy these. When the controller goes into hibernate after "X" amount of minutes to save the batteries, what do you need to do to get it back online?. This is what I always find is the issue with any wireless controllers except the Logitech ones. The Logis are the only ones I have found that just require hitting any button once and immediately come back to life. Imagine, your watching a movie about 1/2 hour into it so the controller is in hibernate and the phone rings and you want to pause the movie. The Logis, push "A" button twice, done. I have had some wireless controllers that are anything from holding a separate button for up to 3 seconds to holding down the thumbstick in till something happens. Let use know how they work.

@xman: when the controller goes on standby, you do have to press the center button - which reads connect - once and you're back in business. Same as with the Xbox 360, so I don't really find that to be much of an issue.
