Every subtitle addons are broken?

Hi.

I have installed XBMC Subtitles, Sublight and OpenSubtitles.

All addons seems to be broken on latest XBMC4XBOX 3.3.3

Can it be fixed? Or am I wrong and some is working?

I have installed in the addon app. I cant access configuration. It generates imediate error.

how is it supposed to be installed?

Get the xbmc subtitles folder and put it in your scripts folder, then you have to go to settings, skin settings and you'll see subtitles somewhere there, go onto that and locate to scripts and then click on default.py , then when your watching a video then you press the subtitles icon (looks sort of like a tv) and then it should work. Let me know how it goes.

I will take a better look now. I Think i have installed correct.

But i will double check.

done it again.

after manual extracting to scripts folder and selecting default.py, i cant access configuration on the link above the default.py selection.

It generates an error "Script failed! XBMC subtitles"

What is this?

Its latest XBMC Subtitles v3.5.2

Is there any specific version for original xbox?

EDIT: The version in http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/forum/viewt ... &t=94#p820loads the subtitles, but does not download anything.

How do you mean download the subtitles? When it loads do the subtitles appear? I do not understand what you mean by downloading them

When i select the subtitle in the listbit was supposed to automaticaly download it to same folser, right?

It doesnt download. The version on that folder is an older 3.3 version.


In the logo there is also the errors for not starting at all version 3.5.2. It just generates errors.

Hi guys,sorry for digging up this old thread but i've into some troubles again with XBMC subtitles. I had Jan's version that was posted above to work on 3.5 RC 2 but when i tried to install it on the latest stable 3.5, it will not come up on the scripts folder. Actually i can install it but after that it becomes invisible,i can't find it anywhere and offcourse there is nothing on the player to get subs when i watch a video. Have we found a workaround regarding this?

PS Great job everyone to still breathe life into a 12 year old piece of machinery!!

So guys just to bump the thread a bit,i also tried the official plugin from xbmc through the xbmc4xbox installer.Didn't work. Anyway if anybody has a working version please share it.
