Problem installing XBMC on XBOX

Dear frinds,

Yesterday a have installing XBMC4Xbox-Source-3.0.zip (from development section) on ftp to my xbox. When i am opening now xbmc on the xbox de screen is hanging on loading.....
How can i fix this?? Or where can ik find de newest xbmc download??

Why did you copy the source code to your xbox ?

On the development page it clearly says

Source Code Snapshots

Here are source code snapshots from the source tree for recent releases. For the latest code, use the Subversion repository.

Note: You cannot install these source snapshots to the XBox !

I repeat – do not download the source unless you intend to compile your own version. This is not something you can install to the XBox!

you need to find a binary build. Maybe check the development section of the forum ? http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=9

I am now installing from evox 2.7 auto installer but i think it is not a recent version of XBMC how can i upgrade it???

You did it the right way but it with wrong files... As BuZz told you, you only copied the "source" files. The Xbox can not run them unless these are compiled. Hey Selo how you doing??? man i think i might have done the samething with mine , sorry i did not follow the do not copy this to your xbox blablabla , i tought the one i was downloading was the right one after checking the folders it conteined only notepads to read no instalers , any way how did you do to recover your xbox , i still can not access to the xbox , recovery mode will not starup!!!
