Basic UK TV channel plugins ?

Hi,

I've used XBMC for years and all I've ever wanted from it is the ability to watch the various UK TV 'catchup' streams on my telly. I then got a 360, but as XBMC doesn't exist for that, and MS don't let you watch anything without demanding a Live Gold subscription, I keep my old faithful Xbox Original next to it, just for XBMC.

I've just upgraded to the latest 3.3.1 version and the only UK TV plugin I could find in the repo's was BBC IPlayer (and that crashed on the first programme I tried watching). I copied over the old plugins from my previous build (4OD, Channel 5, & ITV) into the plugins\video folder and they either do nothing at all or give me a script error.

Is this the current state of play regarding UK TV plugins, or am I doing something daft ?

Does anyone else have a system with working Iplayer, ITV, 4OD & Channel 5 plugins please ?

Hey dude, there once was a time where they all worked lol but now the sites change their websites often and it takes time for people to fix the plugins, Iplayer from the repo should work perfectly as it does for me and so should itv player, 4od and demand 5 need fixing but it may take some time as there aren't many people adapting plugins for xbox, are you using the addons for xbox installer? also there is a plugin where you can watch freeview live on xbmc called 'tvcatchup' it works alright but not perfectly if you would like that. Don't bother getting gold for 4od cause it's just bombarded with ads lol, if you want me to upload the working iplayer and itv player i can

You need to register an account online and enter the password and login name into XBMC
I did have ITV Player working, but it is freezing atm

best hope for this is working mainline plugin support with auto-updates. for now, it's a faff. iplayer and itvplayer are pretty reliable yes.
