Xbmc is freezing at splash screen http://pastebin.com/3fBQnvYT I have version 2.1 installed and working but i would like to upgrade too at least 3.0.1

once its froze can u gain ftp access? if so rename your old xbmc folder to xbmc.old then transfer xbmc4xbox 3.3 and try that.
if you can not gain ftp access, just get a copy of an installer disc that has built in ftp and boot your xbox up with that and do it that way

Try recovery mode (White+Y).

still stuck after it freezes i cant ftp into it i'm tsop modded with x2 bios xbox version 1.1 had a friend compile xbmc4xbox 3.3 thinking i might have a bad copy but not the problem i looked on the forums and seen someone with the same problem but it don't look like it was fixed ether

How did you install 3.3 (presumably that's the freezing build)? FTP? Overwrite or fresh folder?

no i installed it fresh on f the working one is on e

Do you have a Project Mayhem III folder in xbmc/skin?

i do on a few copies i have but not on the last one i tried

I would copy the PM3 folder into xbmc/skin and try to launch it again then.

I tried to solve the case my self.
Uploaded (via TV) a build, using correct filezilla settings.
No go..
Cleared caches, deleted TDATA and UDATA.
Still no go..
Lets be brutal: Wiped everything, HDD build from scratch with HeXEn.
Still no go.. Even with XBMC4Xbox installed from HeXEn.
x2 4983, INd-BiOS, M8+.
DVD check disabled, DVD disconnected.
HDD setted to CS.
Hard to belive, but still no go..
Only trying another HDD remain as an option.

Screwd EEPROM ? :/ Dont think so..

Once the HDD will have been eliminated as a potential source of the problem..
If anyone solve this he'll get my respect for the rest of his life

I rest my case. The only person that I think could help is Heimdall.

I'm stumped, I've also been attempting to help out today along with xman and we can't get to the bottom of it.
A new HDD is the only other viable option I can see to try

ok so changed out the dvd player and the hdd on my xbox no go still the same problem I'm out of ideals

I would also maybe try with and without network attached...

I did try that with no luck just going to stick with xbmc 2.1.... that being said i need some good skins for it
