Wanted: Dreamcast IDE mod

I am looking for someone to my dreamcast to have IDE so I can play games from a hard drive.

why not buy a sd card reader for the dreamcast i do the same have 16 GB sd card with games works perfect

Because games running off of IDE work a lot better. The SD card port isn't fast enough for most retail games

thats totaly bs i have been playing with a sd card now for 2 years works perfect no stuttering loading times are fast no problems at all

So every single game you have run with your serial port SD adapter runs perfectly with no stuttering? Are you running Dreamshell from SD?

I also want a HDD so I can use a 500gb HDD, and SD cards don't run that high.

I'm also planning to get a GD-ROM emulator (GDEMU / USB-GDROM).

As XC-3730C said, many games are not compatible with DreamShell / serial port SD adapter.

And yes, it's faster.

you need a good brand of sd card and class
i have 0 stutter loading is faster than disc chek out youtube video's
iam playing skies of arcadia right now i just finished grandia 2 with no lag no stutter no freezing nothing
use the latest dreamshell iam telling you for me its work 100% on my pal dreamcast
so far i played like 20+ games all run fine
