Cleaning/Restoring a Softmod. Rocky5 kit???

Load NKPatcher Settings > Virtual EEPROM & make sure disabled is enabled. This can be read two ways...do you mean ensure the setting is disabled? If so it is.

I am loading XBMC by going into E:\Dashboard and running xboxdash.xbe (I wasn't sure wether or not to use default.xbe).

I can set the resolution in XBMC by enabling 480P and 720P and setting to Auto. It switches to 720P. If I restart XBMC it retains the setting and when I exit XBMC the UnleshX Dashboard is 720P. If I restart or off/on the Xbox I am back to square one. I go into XBMC and have to re-enable 480P and 720P and so on...

I would wait for Rocky5 to reply but here is my thread when I had the same issue Hexen made by Heimdal was what I used and it was easy in the end .
Rocky5 s disk will use a different method and he is here to help you out it might be of interest to you though .

Well...just like the Enigmah NTSC issue earlier...somehow leaving it for a while and then going back to it...it has now retained the setting!

Thanks everybody that has given input and special thanks to Rocky5 for rejuvenating my poorly modded xbox!

All looks great now in 720P...back to my childhood coinops now

Think it's time to remove that XBMC.
(e:\dashboard)

and glad it's sorted now.

If you're wanting XBMC as your dashboard, you can download it from these forums & extract it & rename the XBMC folder to dashboard & stick it in C.


I may even add C:\XBMC & E:\XBMC as dashboard paths, to make it even simpler

I'm fine on the UnleashX Dash thanks, XBMC is only a couple of clicks away.

Everything is working brilliantly now

I'm sure we'll cross paths again when I dig out my old Xbox's from storage

Similar issue I accidentally formatted the wrong partition and now all I can do is load original Xbox games from startup. I try to reload the rocky5 mod through THPS4 but it stops halfway and turns black. I have my eeprom backed up but I can't communicate with the Xbox through ftp till the dash is loaded it seems. HELP!
