One type of TSOP I've never personally come across. Is the box a v1.4 green Halo edition?

Use Evox to flash that Tsop, there is only one reason, you wouldn't use evox & that's if you have a Winbond.
(Evox flashes everything, bar winbond tsops, it can't erase the chip)

Re: Tsop flashing an atmel chip ?
I'm assuming you bridged the points? Just re-read your post, you haven't bridged the points :-/ you need to so the Tsop can be written to.
Tsop points, this will also narrow down what xbox version you may have.

Once you have bridged the points, here is what you need to add to the ini file.

Points r bridged ,it's a 1.4 board all points on top , just tried auto installer have checked evox ini file and the bios files u have listed r there ,but no good same error
Re: Tsop flashing an atmel chip ?
Then you may need to go the gentoox way.
If you use the hexen disc you would select the winbond option.
But before doing that make sure your solder points are solid (In good shape) & the bios is 256kbs.
Also 1.2/1.5 boards have the points on top & are identical bar the version number. (Except 1.5 its has a point disconnected from the LPC)

Re: Tsop flashing an atmel chip ?
A Winbond should still apear as writable in evox if it was wirtable /correctly bridged. (even if the flash wouldnt be succesful)
Make sure evox.ini contain all the chip flashing info in the BIOS section. http://pastebin.com/jd6FwLmx
As Rocky5 said if it's a Winbond you need to use Gentoox or EurAsia Pro Generic Flash Disc.

Re: Tsop flashing an atmel chip ?
That means the solder points are not functioning correctly.
Pad lifted or soldered wrong/not connected correctly.
I don't think the atmel chips is like the sharp one & requires 5v to flash.
Just try resoldering the points, 2 min job.

Re: Tsop flashing an atmel chip ?
Hello. i wanted to upgrade ram and did tsop xblastOS 0.56 on atmel at49f002a chip. I updated the memory, everything is fine, BUT ... bios refuses to flash from hdd and via net. When choosing a 256kb bios, he asks to press the triggers, start and the white button, after pressing it he simply goes back to the menu, and is not sewn. When flashing via net, I select the bios in the browser on the PC, the page says that I should not turn off the box, but the xbox does nothing, it just goes back to the menu. I recorded the ISO9660 standard on DVD, the image.bin file in the root of the disk, xbox writes that it cannot find it. jumpers are all worth it because tsop was made. What to do please tell me ... xbox cristal edition, chip atmel at49f002a. year of release 05.02.2004
