Re: XBMC to Original Dashboard
There is really no reason to open up your xbox to do what you're trying to do.

Re: XBMC to Original Dashboard
I'm confused as to why you bought a modded xbox if you just wanted a stock one. Modded xboxes sell for a premium because of their extra abilities, so you could have saved money by buying a stock xbox instead. All you need to do is FTP stock files onto the C partition. If you do actually have a mod c...

Re: Help with running XBMC on debug kit
I did search and I read about the hack devkit bios, but supposedly it only works with regular composite cables. Re: Help with running XBMC on debug kit
I was under the impression that anything compiled with the XDK would work on a stock debug. How else would developers be able to work on their games?
I have an X3 chipped xbox as my primary, so the debug is safe from mods. Same goes for the developer kit I own.

Help with running XBMC on debug kit
When I try launching the default.xbe for XBMC from the XDK launcher, I get an error. I've even compiled a debug build of XBMC myself to try to get it to work. I've tried using dexbe .5 to set the file so that the debug kit would boot it. The only way I can load XBMC is to use Retail Game Loader to l...
