Possible to change a game's controller settings via hex editing or in-game files?
Does anyone know if it's possible to change a game's pre-set xbox control settings via say .XBE editing or other in-game files? For instance Worms 3D has the worst camera controls I've ever seen (back to front left and right, and no option to change it or the vertical directions). I saw reference to...

Re: Can I reduce F: partition to increase E:?
This is a late reply, apologies. I took your advice and rather than messing with E: partition, found a better solution. I put all the music on F: (made it's own 'TDATA' folder with just the FFFE0000 I believe the folder is called with the ST.DB and music from E:). Additionally, any games that suppor...

Re: [VIDEO-PLAYBACK] xbox & MKV
I done some research on this as thought movies on this xbox would be interesting. But it seems the bitrates of today and video compression like h.265 (HEVC) aren't usable even on an OG xbox, even with a CPU upgrade and 128mn RAM upgrade. MPEG-4/h.263 of 1996-2005 (that early 2000's era of DVD in thi...

Can I reduce F: partition to increase E:?
Hi everyone, my xbox is close to finished, but I've just realized 5GB on E probably isn't enough space. I have a 1.6 xbox with open xenium chip and Evox M8 Plus 16 BIOS. 2TB HDD was installed. Question - If I used XBpartioner 1.3, and backed up E: (saves, DLC and .wma music) and F: (which has games)...

Re: Putting a shortcut to XMBC4Gamers on UnleashX main menu
I'm pretty sure you made a syntax mistake in the very first line ":E\Apps........................." It should be "E:\Apps........................" You're right, the partition colon is wrong, thanks buddy. (I think I numbed my brain scanning and editing PAL artwork the last 80 ho...

Re: Fix for Issues with Pal games in NTSC Video mode?
I have a PAL console and had no luck running a PAL retail disc of Enter The Matrix on NTSC video (immediate crash with black screen) and when I changed back to PAL video mode it would get to moment the first level starts then crash with a black screen, Enter The Matrix and probably some other games ...

Putting a shortcut to XMBC4Gamers on UnleashX main menu
I was hoping to have XBMC on the UnleashX dashboard's main menu at the top (I don't want it as the main dash but would like it as a quickly accessible option). I have it in the apps folder currently, I tried changing config.xml in C partition. This is the top of my config.xml: <Menu> <Item Action=&q...

Re: Help removing Rocky5 softmod now I have a mod chip
If your chip is working OK and your DVD drive likewise all you really need to do is, making sure the HDD is unlocked first, take it out and wipe it on PC then use an installer disc to setup a dashboard etc for a hardmodded Xbox. I'd make sure I had an eeprom backup if not done already. You don't ne...

Help removing Rocky5 softmod now I have a mod chip
Hi guy's, I had the Rocky5 softmod installed on my 1.6 xbox with a 2TB HDD, which did what I wanted it to do. I now have an open xenium mod chip in my 1.6 xbox, and just FTP'd a BIOS (Evox M8 Plus 16). I also loaded this BIOS in EVtools 1.0.9 for the LBA48 patch (so this BIOS can see large HDD's). B...
