Just gave it a try in the WIN32 build and it seems to be fine. You had mentioned QualarMod... Mine is based on Rapier 4 so it might be different.

I had Rapier working pretty well but I haven't made any changes since the old forum went offline. You might give it a try and see how it compares to what you have done.

I had also disable background loading as well. Every instance of background="true" was changed to false. Also I didn't see the savings when the default background image was on screen; only when fanart was showing instead. Is there a way to change the background images to dds?

I've stumbled across something else. I saved 2MB in video library by disabling background loading and preloaditems...
