Has anyone had any experience and success ditching the whole original case and installing into a custom media center-esque case??

Re: Xenium - cotroller spoof
huh ... interesting idea ... to hook up the controller from inside. it just shouldn't be this hard.... any idea how the system knows it's a "stock" controller? I'm wondering if I could hack the IR sensor for the remote.

Ok... This news about Netflix being released for Linux, does that have any bearing on us? Or are the requirements of HTML5 to difficult?
This is exciting stuff, would love to see this work officially in XBMX4XBOX
Thanks

Re: AVI transcoding / playback problems
I'm not sure I need a debug log as .... I don't think it's XBMC. IT"S A big mp4 .... that I convert to AVI. I've had this problem in the past .... and again ... i'm pretty sure it's not XBMC other than a limitation.
Sorry ...I'll keep it to myself next time

I tried to post this before now it's getting worse with 3.2 mostly AVI files (other formats as well) "studder and freeze " if you haven't interacted with the video controls in a while and then try to pause or stop even...... and when you forward a few seconds the video takes a few seconds ...

Re: Optical Ootput - Compressed?
only compressed in that if the data being sent down is compressed. as far as I know data is passed directly though, with a few exceptions that for example the ffmpeg passthrough code wraps AAC into ADTS frames. but basically there is no additional compression added. SO is it compressed or not??? EX...

Hi Folks .... quick question If I am using the optical output on xbox A/V plug..... Is the digital S/PDIF signal compressed? Or is it just a nice clean PCM signal?
