I think you can solve this problem by booting a hacked bios from a different chip and swapping out the chip before you flash it. It might even work with a softmod.

Looking for a few duox2s and a smartxx. Maybe some xecuter chips if the price is right. I have 40 heat and 80 something eBay refs, plus countless from x-s.
