Re: Videos about the original Xbox
I was quite amazed when I looked in my YouTube history. I remember watching some great videos about the Xbox and turns out most of them were made by the Modern Vintage Gamer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otysqrBT7ko - "The Original Xbox is still awesome - Softmod, BIOS Flash, Compact Flash H...

Re: RF Interferance.
Yup, it was the PSU. After I replaced it with a Delta PSU the noise has disappeared.

Re: RF Interferance.
The weird thing is that just the Xbox with a Foxconn PSU had such problems. I had an another one (with Delta one I think) and no such thing occurred.
I'll replace the LED anyway though.

Re: RF Interferance.
I had the same problem with interferance. When the LED lightbulb was on my Xbox was squealing (I blame the foxconn power supply).
I've ordered the Xbox Protection Cord (X800925-100). I didn't have very high hopes, but to my surprise — it works! No more annoying noise, problem fixed.

Re: SATA Adaptor Compatibility thread
Unfortunately the shipping would be too expensive for me.
I'm looking for an adaptor from directly China (with a free shipping).

Controller mods
My Duke controller was in a REALLY bad shape. The analog sticks were worn-out and loose... so I used thumbsticks from Xbox One and GC (C-stick) as a replacement! I've tried sticks from PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii but only this combo works fine! :D What's weird - Xbox One thumbstick is fitting perfec...

Woah, that's really nice!
I wouldn't mind doing the same thing to my Xbox if I had tools.

Re: hex editing games to force 480p? + widescreen hacks
I made a hack for Futurama (PAL). It changes aspect ratio to 16:9 and resolution from 640x480p to 720x480p. Instructions: Extract FuturamaPALPatch.zip and patch your default.xbe file using Ninja Patcher. You can also patch it by hand. Here's the diff: Comparing files default.xbe and patched.xbe 000C...

You can also buy them on aliexpress. For me it was the cheapest option. And just as @MrMajst3r said:

Re: Power supply replacement
Which version of xbox do you have (1.0-1.6)? You can buy replacements online - just search on ebay for: xbox power supply -360 -one But that's pretty expensive (~40AUD + ~50AUD shipping). Or you can buy one from china on aliexpress (search for: xbox power supply 1.0-1.6c) for 20USD + 28USD shipping....

Re: weird time/date issue
What version of XBMC are you using? From what I've found you might be using a very old build.
