Yes it did work but I had to replace some of the wires on the power connector for the hard drive because some of them seem to have been broken from the inside but it works and and thanks I really do appreciate the help

OK i understand where yous are coming from but i dont really know how to rewire a psu and i wouldn't want to risk my modded xbox i paid 170 pounds for that's where i really wouldn't feel confident at all
