ok this does not make sense to me. if i run the hexen disc and goto admin then file explorer and then dash folder then double click default then i can run xbmc etc from there

ok i guess i should have read things better. i watched the videos of the softmod part 1 and 2 i used an sid loader instead of the unleashx loader as i could not find any to download. i got a copy of the hexen disc and tried it. the sid does not work when i run splinter cell and load the linux profil...

i have decided to try and do the softmod on here and redo the softmod on the xbox.

thats if i can find the files mentioned in the two tut's

i guess i was mistaken and i dont have xbmc installed it seems it is something called XBMP 2.4
i guess its back to basics

Sorry I have not replied I have not had time to get near it but what I can mind the it loaded up to a menu then you selected Xbmc from there.
I will get some time this weekend and look.

hi folks new to the site and i have had a look about and trying to find some info on doing an update.

i have a softmodded xbox how do i update the xbmc to the latest version?
im sure its going to be a lot easier than i think lol
