xman, nice info.
I'm about to install the chip's on my xbox's, so a picture of the "D0" point on the underside would be nice.
I do have a v1.0, a v1.4 and a v1.6 if there is any difference between them.

Softmod or Chip?
I'm working on upgrading my Xbox's to a larger SATA hard drive.
After searching the net for info, I'll think I have the right hard drive and SATA adapter.
Then to my question: What is the best mod to have to make this work, Soft mod or chip?
(All my boxes are soft modded, but I have mod chips ready)

Re: Wanted: Xbox 220v PSU
Ebay will be your best bet.... I've paid as little as £4 for an xbox on there.... sort the results local to you and collect it... check what version yours is as well... ;) I looked into that, but living in Norway, my best option is to buy a seperate PSU (the shipping costs for a complete box is jus...

Wanted: Xbox 220v PSU
Guys,
I'm looking for a 220v PSU.
Bought an modded Xbox that fried the PSU when power on.
It turned out that a couple of screws from the hd tray was laying on top of it.

Re: Reversing a softmod,
Thanks for reply bigkidoz.
Yes, I will go for mod chips. I have read somewhere that it has better support for large hard-disks.
I do have a few of the Aladdin XT Plus2 chip.
