XBMC4Xbox

Hello.
Im new to the forum, so hoping someone could help.
Iv had my xbox 1 with different xbmc versions sinde 2006, but never used mutch addons.
The last 2 years its not been used, so im thinking on dusting it of.
Iv forgot most I knew doh, but I can still FTP in and fix what I need(I hope)

Im wondering if your versions are an easy install, and also is these new versions better looking? The problem with most of the old ones was the booring menues. Id love som input on that.

Also netflix, has anyone made a fix for that on xbox1 yet? I remember silverlight was a pain, but hoping there is some way around it now?

And are there a lot of versions on this forum? Found the main one, and there is talk about a Jan one etc.

Netflix have the dependencies from Silverlight and will not work on the xbox!
many users watch movies with 1 Channel and this is on my build!

Hi Jan, and thanks for your reply.

Does this meant that its impossible to use silverlight on xbox 1? To port it from 360 or windows somehow? Or any way to enable netflix atleast. I have seen netflix hacks, just havent had the knowledge to see if they are usable.

I see now 2 years was a bit mutch. I changed to XBMC4xbox in version 3.0-r30824 136Mb. (March 7. 2011) This was stable and worked ok on what I needed it for, which is mainly streaming movies over wireless.
I later changed to XBMC4xbox 3.0.1-r31096 110Mb (January 28 2012) But this one just couldent keep up the buffering and play the movies with mplayer or dvdplayer and I was so dissepointed I just dident use it mutch after that, and never changed back.
Also strange to see the new versions getting smaller and smaller, is there something thats kees getting cut away?(Current versionn 102mb)

Has it since this been a lot of improvements, and are there maybe a better player that is beeing used to play movies?
Also Jan, what are the major diffrences in your build to the original build?

And have you been able to use te T3CH upgrader or maybe another one so its easy to update to new builds? Dident work on my current version atleast.

Great. So whats the opinion on the different builds out there?

To be honest the only difference between the builds is that Jans comes loaded with a heaps of addons pre-installed, some of which cannot be found elsewhere as Jan adapted them from mainbranch so they would work on xbox. You might want to try that one out for now and then if you want something less bloated install the nightly, the new addon installer is out for testing so give it a few days and it should be very easy to install whatever addons you want - the ones currently only available on Jans builds too.
