XBMC4Xbox

So I bought this xbox and it has xbmc installed. I was wondering if its possible to uninstall this mod and return my xbox to its original state.

Why the hell would you want to do that?!!

it still plays games, but now it also plays movies and plays music.

you can upgrade it and stream stuff off the net and install a ton of emulators and even play xbox games off the hard drive without a disc.

Why oh why would you ever want to go back?

I have to agree, there's not even xbox live support anymore so there really is no need to go back to stock. However if you do want to go back I'm sure someone on here can help, not something I've ever needed to do BUT I did accidentally do it once with xboxhdm. I presume there's also a feature for this on slayers/HeXEn/SID etc.

The Slayer's disc can do it. Burn yourself a copy and install the DVD then go to I think it is "return to Stock" or something like that. Have you opened it to see if it has a chip in it?. If that is the case just disconnect the D0 wire to the chip, make sure the Hard drive is locked and it should be stock. This machine with now be stock and as a result, worth a lot less. Have you considered swapping it with a member that has a stock machine and wants to mod it?. Should only require you to ask.
