[RELEASE] 4oD v1.8.0

I've released a version of the 4oD plugin that works around the adaptive streaming problem by streaming videos from 4oD's Youtube channel to play recent videos.
What's required is a Youtube plugin installed that plays recent videos from 4oD
's channel. In XBMC the latest Youtube plugin has to be modified to make it work with those videos. Also the user has to be logged in to play the videos. Note that older (before mid-August 2012) 4od videos will not play in the Youtube plugin.
The versions of the Youtube plugin for xbmc4xbox may have different outcomes when playing videos from 4oD's Youtube channel, but I see that the login doesn't work, so it's likely that the Youtube plugin will need some work.

the youtube plugin whats works on xbmc4xbox its the backward adapted main xbmc youtube-plugin version 3.2 from me!
I think not that the plugin self will need some work!
I think we must have a newer python for xbmc4xbox 2.6 or better !

This addon has been resurrected in XBMC and now works without Youtube.
Version 2.x.x is for Eden, 3.x.x for Frodo, though the code is the same in both versions.

Thanks Mossy i have a look it can works out of the box on xbmc4xbox!

nice! which ver works on x4x?
note this though:
The plugin uses Channel4's 4oD on PS3 which has a subset of the programmes available through the main 4oD site, e.g. there are 136 documentary and 55 drama programmes on 4oD on PS3 compared with 290 documentary and 115 drama programmes on 4oD.

ihave a look on it on the next days and put it on the repo when i have it again working !
You can it than install over the Addons4 Xbox Installer (xbmc4xbox repo)
The Addons4xbox Installer is the default way to install addons on xbmc4xbox and is on the stable 3.2.1 per default!

No sorry. 4od is not currently possible. DRM etc
