Dumpster Dive

So wile At work the Other Day i was Sent to the Transfer station (the dump) To Change Some Tires on A Big Dozer
Wile i was There I Happened to Spot This Badboy Wile Looking For A couple of pieces of Wood (so i didnt have to lay on the Ground Lmao its A 2005* model Original Xbox v 1.6 it has Hynx chips in it After a Really good Scrubbing lastnight
to remove the 5# of rocks inside the Case lol It Fired up And works "Like New"
The only Small issue is the Dvd-rom drive
sdg-605 sticks A little when it Opens
but im not Concerned if all Else fails ill just Replace the drive

Nope i misread i Lmao it says 2005-04-07 and for some reason all today i kept thinkin that it was made in 2007 ROFLAMO

its is Now softmoded i have a 40 gig drive ima put in it but other than that it runs fine

It possibly could have been an MS refurb but i dont think they did them after the 360 was released, nice find regardless - free is the best price ;)

im thinking it had beed serviced b4 because there is alot of sharpy marker writing on the board by the cooling fins and also the warrenty seals that cover the torx screw holes were Not cut open so it couldnt have been the previous owner

My bin/cupboard find has turned up! :D

I'm thinking of dissecting it and making a 128mb machine, big HDD etc... wonder what BuZz found with the 128Mb board he got..... :geek:
