XBMC4Xbox

Hey guys, I have a modded 1st Gen Xbox and I was wondering if there was a way to update the SID from Version 4 to Version 5 through DVD.
I do have the old usb memory card hybrid but apparently the programs that were able to access it do not run on modern operating systems. Hence why I'm asking for an alternative way to update my softmodded xbox.

Look for Heimdall's Xbox Engineering disc. You'll be able to use that to update your softmod. You're supposed to burn it to a disc but you might be able to just extract it to your Xbox's hard drive and run it from there if you want to save a disc.

You can use Rocky5's 2016 Softmodding Tool. I'd highly recommend it!!! It's incredibly user friendly, and I have used it to fix/upgrade two Xbox's. One of them just now that needed fixing I had been working on for at least 6 hours, and in the end his tools were what I turned to. It got semi-bricked; it's a long story. Bottom line, his tools have helped me on multiple occasions now. His Softmodding Tools Extras Disc I was able to run straight from my HDD with the Xbox I just fixed and it was on SID 5. Oddly enough, after upgrading to his softmod I can no longer run the disc off my HDD.
