Re: Pandora Script??
We need another debug log to diagnose the exact problem but I'm going to guess that the reason your machine locks up is because it runs out of memory. Try adjusting the script settings and run Pandora using the "light" skin. You can also try these memory saving tips here. I use the same setup on my machines and run the script with no problem.
Also, I'm not sure what FTP setup you are using but I would not recommend manually patching in files. Delete the script and copy over all at one time like GoTeamScotch suggested. Using Filezilla to FTP while XBMC is running should help with file naming issues and you can also keep tabs on successful/failed transfers.

Re: Pandora Script??
Well it wasn't the file that I put in since I was able to copy the correct one into place using another method and it still locked up. And I wasn't worried about manually patching in files since I have 7 xboxes to play with and this one has 5 versions of xbmc I can switch between.
Thank you for your help. Using the memory saving tips it does now work.
Thanks for taking the time to help.

Re: Pandora Script??
Might be a stupid question but I didn't see you bring it up yet. Have you already installed the addon "simplejson" in the addon installer? It needs to be installed before the Pandora script will run. Also, can you copy/paste your log file?
-> pastebin
It will make it easier to deduce what's holding up the show
You can find it here:

You can find it here:
Code: Select all
Programs > Program Plugins > Addons4Xbox Installer > Get Addon-ons > XBMC4Xbox Add-ons > Script Modules Add-ons > simplejson

Re: Pandora Script??
I did a clean install of XBMC 3.5 B2 and when I tried to use this script, I login fine. problem is when I try to play a station it keeps showing 'opening file' and then it will disappear and reappear continuing the cycles ofr numerous times before it stops and does nothing. any idea?

Re: Pandora Script??
Sorry Kingfish999 I'm not sure what might be causing the loop. I haven't had a chance to update my Xbox's to the beta yet, I'm still running 3.3.3.
However, with the beta comes better python 2.7 compatibility so more mainline addons work with xbmc4xbox. If you are going to run the beta I would suggest trying the mainline Pandora addon from here, see post #1937. Rivy has taken on the Pandora addon and has got it on the official repository. There is a chance it could run on the xbox without the need for changes.
When I get some free time in the next few days I'll take a closer look.

Pandora Script??
I need the simplejsom script but it won't let me view the link why is it secret. Where can I find the simplejson script designed for xbmc4xbox or will any of them work?
I found others online but they're not working.

Re: Pandora Script??
You used to be able to install it from the built in addons installer under "script libraries" but it's not there any longer. I looked it up in the source code and found a copy which you can download here: Google Drive Download - this is from rev #164.
This likely won't work with the latest XBMC. You may have to go back a few versions if you want to use this.

Re: Pandora Script??
Thank you. I'm interested in function over modernization, so if it works with an old version that's no problem here.
Thank you again for the link. I'm surprised ((((they)))) didn't [remove] it.
Any forums outside of this where there is less censoring aggression towards thinking, please let me know.
You'll probably have to PM me, lol. I don't know how ((((they)))) feel about that sorta thing here.
