New hdd install issue

Okay so i installed a 1.5tb sata hdd, boots up just fine. After the install i went back into chimp and selected the everything over 137gb go on g option. It says error out of memory. I reboot and f is 137gb and g says only 62mb free even though there is nothing in the g partion. Does any one know what the error out of memory issue is and how to fix it. Thanks.

EDIT::: Okay so i tried the allow f to take up all the space and now it shows f as having 1,048,255.88 free space out of 1,048,511.94 or 1,048,511.94/1,048,255.88 . Does that sound like the proper amount of space i should have for a 1.5 tb wd green drive? oh also c has 299.95/125.92 and e 4881.63/228.92 and xyz all have 749.89/749.88 .

Use XBPartitioner v1.3 & split F & G equily.
(Press (B) when the menu appears followed by start then (Y))

Reboot the machine and have another look. F not appearing is very common on sata HDDs in Xboxes when the HDD is not over 1/3 full.
If it doesn't come on, try again and again till it does.

What BIOS does your console have?

Yeah like above, XBPartitioner writes a partition table to the first sector of the HDD & if you have a partition table complient bios or softmod, it will use this partition table over the LBA48 hack.
(Ind-bios or x2 5035+ Or the x3 bios/chip or one of the latest softmods)

Maybe update your Softmod, I think SID is in its teens now.
(I know there was a SID 12 I think)

Is there a way to do that off the hdd as my dvd rom is kinda dead now? If so what software to use can you point me the right way?

Also when doing a softmod are you technically only making changes too the hdd? so if i have another working hdd for that xbox if i messed up one softmod could i just pop my other hdd in and be good to go as i now have the stock hdd with softmod for this xbox plus my 120gb ide hdd chimp cloned for this xbox as well?

Yes there is a way to do it off the Hdd, I can prep a folder for you that you place on the E partition & run the default.xbe then follow the onscreen instructions.

As for replacing HDD's yes, aslong as there locked to that xbox eeprom you can just swap them in & out.
