XBMC4Xbox

Have used XBOXOne back when it was XBMP. I just upgraded to 3.2 and noticed the Confluence skin included. Have used this under XBMC live build and works fairly well on HTPC. I was wondering if the skin is included with XBMC nightly builds is there a way to get it "tuned" up to be able to play avi files through network....not streamed, I play through a NAS. Works great under PMIII skin and can even play 480i x264's and MP4's. With default settings under Confluence it will barely play a MPG file without getting red memory error at top of screen. I apologize if this has been answered...new forum....did a few searches. Saw similar posts but all say go back to PMIII skin. I though ok I lived with PMIII skin for years but why the tease of including Confluenece skin?

I don't have a solution for you but I think there must be something wrong with your setup because I stream 720p xvids and SD h.264s from an smb share on my computer while using the Confluence skin with no memory problems.

There is a new 'lite' version that is now included in the nightly builds, there is also a lite theme for the original skin... this will all help..

The xbox is "in her grey years but still break dancing" when you consider what shes packing under the hood! remember to turn off unwanted services such as auto detection, FTP when your not using it, hard set the fan speed and try Mplayer instead of DVDPlayer...

I too have no issues with 720p AVI and SD h264...
