Hey Guys! I have set up a windows network (SMB) on xbmc for videos and whenever i play a video it is slow (8-9 fps) while using 100% of the cpu. Is it because of streaming or is it my settings? Would it play better if i just ftp the movie to my xbox then when im done, delete it and ftp another?

could be a video the xbox can't play due to lack of cpu power etc. Please read this thread - http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/forum/viewt ... p?f=6&t=65 which is at the top of the forum, as a debug log will be needed to advise better.

you are trying to play back 720p h264 video - which is beyond the capabilities of the old xbox. You can either transcode the film or get a 480p version.

You can at least make an attempt an searching via google; it's extremely annoying having to answer questions that are often answered by a simple google search!
