XBMC4Xbox

Hey guys!

I flashed a bad bios update on my xenium ice modchip. Despite flicking the switch into recovery and inserting a bios update CD, the damn thing just won't respond. I have a 1.6 xbox with the Hard drive currently unlocked.

I figured it would probably be cheaper to just buy a new mod chip and pop it in there instead of wasting time scratching my head any longer burning more bios update cds.

If anyone has a xenium ice modchip with firmware 2.0.1 or higher (to properly support the 1.6 xbox) for sale, please let me know!

I just want the spare xbox to run xbmc on an older tv.

This is a classic symptom of a Xenium Clone...Unfortunately they brick themselves if the OS is updated, and I am not sure it is worth fixing...

Ended up Softmod doing the box using another hacked xbox. Thanks for the research guys!
