Green Tint

When I have the HD component cable hooked up the XBOX splash screen looks normal. However, when the XBMC shows up (3.5rc2) the screen has the bad green tint to it. It works fine with the SD cable though. I also can't get it to chance over to 720 or 1080. I select either resolution and XBC does not recognize the command...just ignores that I have selected these resolutions. Took this screen shot to show the green tint and it is showing up perfectly.

Lastly, I suppose...I do not have any sound coming coming from the unleashx dash. Checked sound and audio and everything is enabled.

If I use the green tinted screen in unleash and navigate to and execute default.xbe by going to:
system
file explorer
e
ndts
default.xbe
it will relaunch unleashx and the screen colors are corrected, but not in HD even after enabling 720 and 1080.
Hoping someone will jump in here and help me out. Really appreciate it as I am not very knowledgeable.

Launching the MS dashboard gets me a black screen.
No sound in unleashx when poking around.

I'm assuming you're softmodded?
If so upgrade your Softmod, use my extras disc in my sig, that should fix any issues you have, it's the latest Softmod & is full proof.
Let me know how you get on.
Burn the disc, load the disc, select advanced features & upgrade old softmods. (Password = upgrade)

Keeping the HD settings is a problem in old softmods so use Rocky's advice and update, if you are hard modded then it may be a cable issue.

Similar to what professor_jonny said;
I think NKPatcher can output sync on green VGA, so if its a softmod that might be causing it.

Thanks a lot guys for the feedback! Rocky I will try that this evening and report back. If I remember correctly this xbox is the one I bought with a bad HD. I made the little 2 prong tool and got the eeprom and then made a new HD, so I am thinking the disc I made didn't have much data when I ran the make-iso-bin.bat file.

If the image in post one has the green tint, it's not sync on green, as that makes the screen almost lime green, you lose all colours bar some pinks & green.
If your screen looks like image two, then nkpatcher is outputting in RGB mode.

It is the second image on an NTSC console. Burning your disc now. Do I just run default.xbe?
Ugh....DVD drive doesn't work on this xbox. FTP'ing to console and will try running it that way.
