Does anyone have this problem? If I change skin to other than project mayhem my movies won't play.This happens with latest and current builds?

The other skins are using too much RAM. Even Confluence Lite... There are a couple that will work. I am using Xbox Extended with great results. There is also a revised version of Confluence Lite that is supposed to be acceptable. Check out the working XBMC4Xbox skins over at the "Skins" section

@toocko
As you mention Project Mayhem III there is a good chance you're using an older version of the project.
Give XBMC4Xbox 3.5 RC2 a shot to compare (see the install plugin in my signature).

Dan Dar3,
Are the newer builds optimized to use less resources as a whole? I am still running 3.5 B2, and it's the first I have had everything working to my satisfaction...
I have a fear of updating...

@Kevin G.
You can always read the "Recent Commits" on the right side of the main site, to see what changes are happening in between versions, as well as "Recent Issue Activity" (below that).
http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/
http://redmine.exotica.org.uk/projects/ ... /revisions
http://redmine.exotica.org.uk/projects/ ... w_issues=1
On the other hand, if you read the plugin wiki page you will see it installs the new version in a separate folder, so it won't break what you have - it is always recommended to test all areas you use in the new version before setting it as your default XBMC4Xbox version, so you can always judge for yourself. All new changes either fix something or bring something new, if you can afford to test it and provide feedback, the better the product.
Re memory usage (the M: column in the log) and crashes due to "out of memory" you can read this forum post where it shows you how to enable debugging so you can see on screen CPU and memory usage, as well as produce more information in the log file for reporting issues in the forums.
