HDMI out mod help!

I decided to add an HDMI out to my 1.6v x3 xbox using and HDMI converter.I got everything all wired up but for some reason im not getting any power to the converter. the converter uses 5v at 1amp, i connected the converter to the 5v out on the bottom of the board and i got nothing. can somebody please help it would be greatly appreciated.

The draw maybe to much for that pin, connect the power to one of the 5v pins on the power supply motherboard connector.
If the adapter ran of a USB cable then the AV 5v pin should have been enough, but it uses a plug.

thanks it worked i probaly should have figured that out though since i have an x3 installed but its been a long day

Does audio over HDMI work on the xbox and converter ?

yes but the converter only supports stereo, non of the HD audio codecs are supported
,

Got any diagrams that you used that can help in my travels?
