Rom management

So if I want to put all my roms in a central location like this:
F:\emulators\roms\nes
F:\emulators\roms\snes
F:\emulators\roms\gb

How would I configure my emulators to access this. I have many different emulators for the same device but don't want to duplicate my roms under each emulator's folder. A shortcut(symbolic link would be the perfect answer but I don't think that is supported.) Some emulators have config files where I can specify the rom location which works fine. But others don't. What are you don't to manage this?

Go to Programs, add a source called "Emulators" and in there add all those paths (a "source" supports one or more paths, merging them into a single view).

So I didn't describe the problem properly. I have multiple emulators. Some of them have an ini file that allows me to point to a location(ie: f:\emulators\roms\nes). Other programs have no ini file and are hardlinked to a folder(Roms) within the same directory. Basically, I want to point multiple programs to the correct rom location. I'm guessing without a ini file, the program must have the roms under it's own folder :(. *Hint Hint* if somebody can fix that, it would make things much more flexible. I'm not having much luck with some of the programs(pj64) that do have an ini but pointing to the right location still does not work. Will keep playing with it.
