XBMC4Xbox

Here is some sketches for a logo for xbmc4xbox.



I'm not sure if they are useable as you probably would need permission from the Xbmc-team to use the xbmc-part of the logo officially.
But if anyone is interested just get in touch. I have over 15 years of experience in the print industry and have no problem making a real working logo if you guys would be interested.

Let me know if you need to get a working logo and any changes you'd like. Happy to contribute if I can
Personally I'd go for one of the last two variants as they are easily readable on most surfaces just by swapping white/black depending on what background they should be on.

Will certainly make the site and the splash screen look more project specific. Please can you email me the original files at the highest res you have (png or svg if vector based) and I'll check with xbmc.org if they are happy for us to use them.

I agree with BuZz; however, the "4" should not overlap any other letter and it's a bit too thin, in my opinion.

Without sounding like I'm trying to redesign it, I think I agree with Dom's points, but the logo is still better than anything we have had to use so far, so please don't take it as a criticism

I have emailed XBMC regarding the logos/branding and getting permission etc.

I understand exactly what you guys mean. I'll try to whip up another version tomorrow as it is too late for me tonight. I have some ideas about how to make it better, I just have to find the right style of font.
But this time I will only make them the styles that BuZz mentioned and not make all these variations.

A plain white png would be nice to use with skins.

Looks like I do not have that much time to work on this this weekend, but expect something beginning of next week

There's my new splash you guys are looking at there. Black background, green letters and the orange 4. It takes a bit to get me to move away from my normal, trusty skull and cross bones but that does look nice. I wonder what that blue I use in my skull and cross bones would look on the letters.

What do you think of this one? Bolder and easier to read and nothing overlaps.

When the design gets locked down I'll whip up some SVG-files for you guys.
I might even be able to take some requests for splash-screens and such

EDIT: And by the way, these logos are vectorized so you can make them as big or as small as you like without them looking fuzzy.
