Updating to 3.2 Stable Hosed my Wide Icons

I just updated to 3.2 from an older version. I have a ton of custom-made wide icons for my emulators using Cospefogo's templates, like so:

These have always looked FANTASTIC in 720p, but when I updated to the new version of XBMC they're suddenly low res and grainy. I already tried wiping out my thumbnails and forcing them to reload, but to no avail.

How do I get my crisp wide icon thumbnails back?

If you do a little search this has been discussed in the past few days, I think the new nightly sorts all that out but do a search and double check first.

Sorry for creating a dupe thread. I did search, but I was using "wide icon" as my search parameter. This is the thread in question:

Looks like BuZz posted a custom build and also added the code to the nightlies, so any nightly build after August 7th should work better. I'll try this out tonight.

increasing thumbnail size in advanced settings on the stable would also work around it. by default the thumb size is 192, and so the wide icons were getting 192 width max - now it calculates it differently, but increasing this to 512 would suffice on the stable anyway.

Even easier!

Thanks for the tip.

Edit:

Figured it out.

Original : Do I need to create an advancedsettings.xml and use a <thumbsize> setting, as described here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Us ... ttings.xml

Thanks.
