XBMC4Xbox

i have 2 soft modded xbox in different rooms..when i turn on xbox number 1 and click on xbmc it has a black and white xbmc logo that appears as its loading ..and nothing works on it as far as plug ins and channels.....when i turn on xbox 2 and click on xbmc as it's loading it has a blue ish looking xbmc4xbox logo and i have more plug in that work ...to make a long story short i ftp what was on xbox 2 to xbox 1 and i can never get it to have that blue ish logo to appear, iv tried for weeks now, im almost to give up on it.....

A picture of the blueish screen would help. Just so people know what to help with. Blue, well I make all my bios screens blue but is it that screen or your startup screen?. Really need a picture.

when my xbox turns on it goes to unleash x..then i click on xbmc and then i see the xbmc logo in black and white.....when i do the samething on the other xbox it has a blue xbmc4xbox logo ..ill try and post pics of it....how do you know which build you have updated too, will it show you somewhere or do you just hope you have the latest build after you ftp it

If you can FTP onto your xbox, you can retrieve your debug log and that will provide the info you're looking for...

You can upload the debug logs to pastebin and provide a link.

Download the most recent XBMC4XBOX at this link. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8mcip8xsfe1zjap/l3YgRuBH-M . When you download it, rename the folder for your older XBMC version to "XBMCold". FTP the new version that you downloaded to your Xbox under E:\Apps or F:\Apps. Try running that version of XBMC and see how your milage varies using the newest model.

should i download xbmc4xbox 3.3.3 or xbmc4xbox 3.5. beta 2..im guessing 3.5. beta 2 is the latest, thanks for the help i'll try it..

ok now it has the same logo as the other xbox, but how do i get all the plug ins to work like [removed] and jtv...they either say script error or live data not found

everytime i ftp over a new build nothing works still, , maybe my xbox is screwed up, if it's as easy as transferring it over i'v done that, but it doesn't seem to matter cause everything plugins and scripts don't work, i guess it would have been easier to just hit an update button and bam it's done, am i suppossed to add things to each folder on the new build? the only one i need working or watch is jtv, if you can help me with that id appreciatate it

If you're simply FTP'g addons, you may be missing dependencies in the scripts .module folder. Each addon may have different dependencies and we can't say with certainty which ones you may be missing. Using the addons installer may be best to download the addons since it will, for the most part, download the requires dependencies.

Many addons are not working because they're not being maintained... Nevertheless, for specific addons, you'll need to add a new topic in the python scripts support forum.

Keep in mind that without a debug log, no one can properly assist you with your issue. Also, make sure you include the name of the addon you need assistance with. "help!", "addon don't work" are not acceptable titles.

Honestly, JTV is down and has been for a while. There are many threads about this in the forums. [removed] works fine for me personally. I have a copy of the script modules you need and the plugin itself for [removed]. PM me if interested, I'd have to wait until I'm home to send you a link.

i got movie25 to work for now, but [removed] ill copy you're link to get it working hopefully, and jtv i can get to the site but as far as seeing videostreaming it says live data not found...

even on movie25 when i click on a movie and it brings up around 400 links, only 1 may work out of 400 , is this happening with everyone else?
and when i try to re install [removed] with addoninstaller it's not in the list anymore under videos..
